I have had an issue with my insurance company claiming that they recive some documents, and not reciving others, while they were sent in the same envelope, with a confrimed delivery. How can I certify the contents of an envelope, then ship it, thus binding each document to the recipient. I know I can list the enclosures and have them confimed by a notary, but that would only assure that they were together before sealed in the envelope. Is there a way to have the post office, a witness, or a notary public confirm contents of an envelope that will be uncontestable? I would assume there is some procedure that will allow for this but not require additional witness statements etc. Bottom line, when I get a confimed delivery, I want to be assured that the reciver is confirming acceptance of the envelope, and its individual contents.
anon- How does that prove the document was actually in the envelope?
