Hi i am being sued by my ex employer for breach of contract. I worked for a credit management company were i was a general manager. I was selling debt recovery packages to different companies, were a telesales person person would cold call a business and set up an appointment for me to try to sell them a package. All was well at the start and please be aware i was selling 30,000 pounds worth of this a month ( we only sent letters so there was low expeniture) Things started to go wrong when the MD wanted me to lie to other employees about the deals i was getting so they did not get any bonus eg if a telesales person set up my appointment they were entilted to a bonus as well so he did not want to pay them any more. I refused to do it and off course he forced me to do it or told me i would be sacked. I continued on for another couple of months lieing to staff but the conscience got the better of me and i left the company. I started working for another company striaght away and this was selling health and safety products for a couple of months and then i gained promotion to a general manager of another company who was a sister company to this one. They sold debt recovery and i explained to my boss that in my old contract with that other debt recovery place i was not allowed to sell any likeness off there product for one year after my contract was finshed. He asked me did i want the job or not or he would get someone else what was i to do, and so i attended an appointment and wasnt one of my old bosses there and he spotted me and they are suing me for breach of contract and loss of earnings and this is in the high court think they are suing me for 100,000 what can i do

being sued for breach i\m being sued by my old boss
