I found a duplicate charge on my credit report.?

I ACTUALLY SETTLED FOR THE CHARGE ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND WHEN I WAS REVIEWING MY CREDIT REPORT I NOTICED THAT THE ACTUAL CREDIT CARD COMPANY HAD IT ON MY REPORT TOO. I SETTLED WITH THE COLLECTION AGENCY. WELL I ALREADY SENT THE LETTERS TO ALL 3 CREDIT BUREAUS ABOUT THE ERROR. MY QUESTION IS, HOW LONG BEFORE MY CREDIT SCORE INCREASES B/C OF THIS ERROR ONCE THE DUPLICATE HAS BEEN DELETED? AND BY HOW MUCH? ONE MORE QUESTION PLEASE(I’M TRYING TO REPAIR MY CREDIT) HOW DO I CHANE THE PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT ON THE CREDIT REPORTS. THEY SHOW A JOB I HAD IN 2004. I’VE BEEN WITH A BETTER AND HIGHER PAYING COMPANY SINCE 2005.
THE AMOUNT OF THE CHARGE IS $ 820.00. DOES IT MAKE THAT MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE ON YOUR SCORE WHEN IT IS DELETED?
