cap one wants me to go to a bank?
Got a call on my CapOne card, from the fraud department, asked me a couple questions then said they couldn't verify my id. Then why send me the card in the first place! They surprised me with a 1000 dollar limit instead of a 300 like the rep said. Credit scores took a beating with the 4 recent inqs. and dropped 40 points on Eq but jumped back up +11 point to 632 after I pif'd all my credit accounts. Now they want me to go to a bank, and let the bank look at my ID....huh? Told them I'm out in the boonies and closest bank is 100 miles away, they just repeated what they said and asked me if I needed anyone else. Guessing they will close the account if I don't call in so what do I do?
