Barclay Financing Visa Card ??
Hello all. I am trying to find people who either have or have applied for a Barclays card. I am particularly looking at the Barclay Financing Visa card that they have linked on the Apple store. If you have applied for the card I would appreciate if you could tell me which report they pulled if you know, your score when pulled, approved or denied, and your starting credit limit. I know there are other varying factors I just want to get an idea. I need a new laptop for school and I would love to get an apple. I cant pay it all today but definately could pay it off well before the 0% ran out. Thanks

New Viruses on the loose!
New Viruses on the loose! Oprah Winfrey virus: Your 200MB hard drive suddenly shrinks to 80MB and then slowly expands back to 200MB. AT&T virus: Every three minutes it tells you what great service you are getting. MCI virus: Every three minutes it reminds you that you're paying too much for the AT&T virus. Politically Correct virus: Never calls itself a "virus", but instead refers to itself as an "electronic microorganism." Arnold Schwarzenegger virus: Terminates and stays resident. It'll be back. Government Economist virus: Nothing works, but all your diagnostic software says everything is fine. New World Order virus: Probably harmless, but it makes a lot of people really mad just thinking about it. Federal Bureaucrat virus: Divides your hard disk into hundreds of little units, each of which does practically nothing, but all of which claim to be the most important part of your computer. Texas virus: Makes sure that it's bigger than any other file. Adam and Eve virus: Takes a couple of bytes out of your Apple. Congressional virus: The computer locks up, screen splits erratically with a message appearing on each half blaming the other side for the problem. Airline virus: You're in Dallas but your data is in Singapore. Freudian virus: Your computer becomes obsessed with marrying to its own motherboard. Public Television virus: Your programs stop every few minutes to ask for money. Elvis virus: Your computer gets fat, slow and lazy, then self destructs only to resurface at shopping malls and service stations across rural America. Nike virus: Just does it. Congressional virus #2: Runs every program on the hard drive simultaneously, but doesn't allow the user to accomplish anything. Star Trek virus: Invades your system in places where no virus has gone before. Health Care virus: Tests your system for a day, finds nothing wrong, and sends you a bill for $4,500.

Does Anyone Besides Me Worry About Mobile Security? Just Wondering
OK, maybe I'm paranoid, but I've got my Imagio totally locked down with a mobile security suite with a firewall, spam filters, virus checker, remote erase, the whole nine yards. I've got the phone updating the virus definitions every night automatically at 2 AM, then running a full antivirus check of the phone and microSD card every night at 3 AM. So I feel pretty secure that I'm not gonna get a virus or hacked, or if my phone gets lost I can easily brick it wherever it is, then find it via GPS. But I get the impression that very few other people even consider mobile security. To my way of thinking, my Imagio is more like a computer than a dumb phone, it holds lots of sensitive information like contacts, my business calendar and notes, banking info and passwords, all kinds of stuff I'd rather not lose. Plus it's totally open to WiFi, the 'Net and Verizon's service (a dishonest Verizon employee would NEVER hack into your phone, right?). So I go the extra step with a third-party security suite. Anyone else? I've heard folks say that phones aren't hackable, but to me that sounds like the Apple owners who say only PC owners need antivirus because their Macs are somehow "immune." Ostrich head-in-the-sand behavior to the nth degree.

Whoohoo!!! Instant approval!
I've been busting my butt for the last 2 years trying to clean up the credit disaster I caused in college/grad school. Most of my badies are starting to fall off my CRs and I was able to get rid of a lot of collections including a fairly recent one by PFD in the last few months. I currently have a Cap1 card that will not move above $500 and an OB one that is at $1100. Both have ridiculous APRs. Since one of my inqs fell off my TU report last month I decided to try today for an Apple/Barclays Visa rewards card to put my new iPad purchase on. I held my breath but didn't expect much if anything since my TU was 665 as of last week with 2 CO and one collection still on it. I got an instant approval for $2799!!!!!!!!! I'll put the iPad on it and pay it immediately off and then can put my business trip that I will get reimbursed for on it. I'll take a hit this month and next for that with my CS but will pay it completely as soon as those reimbursements come through and will earn some free iTunes gift cards. I am so excited I could cry that I finally have a solid Visa card. :) :) :)

Bad Apple…?
Is the Apple store card worth my time, or is it serviced by a bank I should stay away from? Thanks for the imput, as I'm needing a new personal computer.

Apple FCU
Anyone on here belong to Apple FCU? If so, any information about how they are re: credit products?? I found a few posts about them but not really much about if they will work with credit problems or not. It seems they are another CU you can join through being a member of a particular association.

No iPhone and now no iPad!! What’s up with Verizon
I am so angry right now. I have been a loyal Verizon customer who has had no iPhone. Now, I find out the new iPad from Apple will be using AT&T as well. Why is it that Verizon can't seem to work anything out with Apple? Hate to leave Verizon but this is ridiculous.
