    Is this a serious question?

That’s the specs of a netbook. It was never intended to run games, nor can it be upgraded beyond a small memory upgrade.

First of all, it’s a netbook. It’s not built to perform like a normal notebook computer.

Second, the problem is your Atom processor. Not the speed, but the processing core itself. The Atom is specially built for very low-power devices like netbooks. Their primary concern is power efficiency. It’s not built to perform. You are simply demanding too much from it, and MOAR GHZ won’t make it any better. You are expecting it to perform like a fancy Core 2 Duo CPU that you find in a normal notebook… CPUs are not all built the same, and clock speed is a poor measure of it’s performance capabilities.

Third, your audio circuitry is garbage because they didn’t design it to sound like a $ 1000 hi-fi system. It’s an itty bitty netbook, and they threw in cheap sound components to keep the price down. The static you’re hearing is electrical noise and interference from the CPU. Imagine that.
