I have an old charged off OC HSBC/Best Buy.*

On EQ there is a flag.*On the current status of TU, it says “Bad debt/collection.”*
On TU there is no flag.*On the current status of TU, it says “Payment after charge off/collection.”*

I get the feeling that this account might be holding my score down on TU, but I don’t want to risk it because it’s coded the same way on EXP as well.

Is there a way to determine how the account is affecting my score on TU and EXP beyond this? I am not attacking it at this point because it would lower my AAOA and would only benefit 1 report (My EQ).*
