So as I was looking around sendearnings.com (get paid to read emails and all that), I seen a thing for discover card. It says to sign up and i’ll get $ 15 to my sendearnings account.

So I went ahead and went to the link it gave me ) and I applied.

When I was finished, it told me: We sincerely appreciate your interest in Discover Card. After carefully considering your application we are unable to approve your request at this time for the
    reason(s) listed below.
    INSUFFICIENT CREDIT HISTORY

After reading below, does anyone know how I can sign up for this credit card? THANKS!

Here is the whole page it showed me after trying to sign up. I’ll copy and paste:

We recommend obtaining a copy of your credit report (from the reporting agency listed below) and review for inaccuracies. If any are found, contact the credit bureau
agency to correct the discrepancies. If you find your credit bureau report to be accurate, we recommend a few things that can greatly increase your ability to become
a Discover Cardmember. We encourage you to take these important steps to help improve your credit score:
    1. Minimize applications for other credit cards or loans
    2. Reduce outstanding balances by paying more than the minimum payment
    3. Make all credit payments on-time and avoid becoming over limit
    4. Close any unused or unnecessary accounts
Following some or all of these steps will put you back on your way to improving your credit score. Once you have completed these steps, we encourage you to
reapply with Discover Card once again. We would like to be your card of choice. If you have any questions, please write to the following address:

information you provided in your application did not score a sufficient number of points for approval of the application. Our credit decision was based in whole or in
part on information obtained from the reporting agency listed below.

Go to your local bank and sign up for one of their cards.

If they also turn you down, then I guess you’ll just have to save up cash before you can buy something.

I would go to either your local bank or credit union to see if you qualify for one of their cards. If not then I would see if you could have a secured card. With a secured card you put money into a savings account and the lender uses that as collateral. You still pay each month just like a regular credit card. It is one way to build your credit. Some secured cards can be obtained with as little as $ 300-500. Payments are reported to the credit bureau just like an unsecured credit card. It is very easy to get into trouble with credit cards. You don’t need to charge much to build credit. Just a small purchase each month where you can pay it off when the bill comes would be best. It helps your score when you don’t use up most of your credit.
