We are looking for houses mainly in Rancho Penasquitos area. Just few months ago we*saw lots of listing in that area within our price range (under $500k). Now *most of them are either pending or have cash offer.
Also, there is no new listing coming up on the market since February. The inventory is so low that few houses that are listed currently, asking for higher price than the current market price.
Some of my friend told me to wait for summer, because normally inventory goes better in summer. My fear is that-if this trend (less inventory) goes on, then house price will go up eventually.*
What do you think? Do you think the inventory will improve in summer or houses price will increase? is this a seller’s market?
