Article Score0

Okay here is my situation. I have a Fico score of 650. I have no collections or charge offs, But i have a repossession back in December of 08 from a car i co-signed for a family member who did not pay for the vehicle, but other then that my credit has no other damages to it. Would i be able to finance i vehicle in the $ 30000-35000 range with money down? How much would i have to put down?

Income $ 84,000 yearly.

Thanks

5 Thoughts on 650 Credit score can i get $35000 car loan?

With income at the level your saying I have to say that you would need to put a large dwn and then pay a higher rate APR% for loan.
    Your FICO is very low.

has the repossession been resolved? Car resold and balance paid off?

If so, you will qualify for a loan in most cases depending on your other obligations and debt to income ratio. 650 is a little below average for a credit score. You won’t get the best rate but not the worst either. Depending on the book value of the car you may have to put 10-20% down as well.

A 650 credit score isn’t very high these days and a recent repossession is going to kill you. I think you would have a hard time getting a 35k loan at a reasonable interest rate.
