lowes cc….anyone hear of this?
My fiance and I are in the process of remodeling our house…(loads of fun:smileywink:)…anyway… I have a lowes card… 4000 cl… well I was gonna just get another card in and let her use that one when I want to pick something up or she does… instead of playing musical cc like we do now… well I was online on my account and saw add au… thought to myself…well that makes sense…instead of just getting another card…i’ll add her as au she’ll get a card and wont be “fake” signing my name eveytime… so I called CSR to make sure a hard pull would not be done…if so wasnt gonna do it…she assured me “no”…well got back online typed in her name as au…thats it…didnt ask for ssn, address, do i even know this person…nothing… it just said I would recieve a new card in 7-10 business days…ok…cool… figured it would be just a card with her name on it… next day she gets and alert in email a “new account has been added”… im like huh?… how did they put it on her report?…didnt ask for any info… how did they even find her report?…with just a name?… no inquiry nothing…
I mean…its really not a bad thing… card is 3.5 years old with perfect payment history and is now her highest cl… utilization is kinda high right now due to remodel…but will soon be paid back down to under 10%… anyone hear of this with lowes?
